Just like the moon, which accompanies us day by day and at the same time fascinates again and again, the new Belisar chronograph Mondphase from Union Glashütte proves to be a reliable and attractive companion for every day. The elegant timepiece from Saxony offers all the displays of the full calendar and a mechanical chronograph movement with up to 60 hours of reserve.
The course of the moon is indicated by a classic moon phase display at 6 o'clock. As on a dark blue miniature stage with yellow stars, the heavenly play takes place there. The white dial with black nickel-plated indexes and numerals as well as blued hands is the subtle backdrop. Despite the numerous advertisements, it appears clear and tidy.
The date is indicated by a circling pointer with crescent-shaped tip. The displays for the day and month are within the 30 minute counter at 12 o'clock. If necessary, the day of the week can be easily corrected with a push-button at 10 o'clock. An hour counter at 6 o'clock completes the chronograph functions. The arrow-shaped pointer of the 24-hour display at 9 o'clock allows a safe orientation at day and night.
All this is housed in a well-proportioned stainless steel case with a diameter of 44 millimeters. Its inset flanks are the signature of the Belisar collection. The screwed sapphire glass bottom provides an unobstructed view of the UNG-25.01 manufactured in Glashütte and refined with up to 60 hours of gear autonomy. The watch is waterproof up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 meters).
